Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim sent out a tweet last week of these amazing designs for the CW TV show Arrow. They feature the costume illustrations for Black Canary played by Caity Lotz by costume designer Maya Mani.

Sara Lance AKA Black Canary will be featured in tonight's episode "Broken Dolls." Illustrator Andy Poon also shared some more designs on his blog and the design for Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White).

Andy Poon is a professional concept artist who's worked on television shows like Smallville, and Slugterra.

Here's what Poon had to say about the designs on his blog. "The 2nd episode of season 2 Arrow has aired and whose new to the city??? Black Canary!!!" said Poon. He says that he's "a Batman fan" and "comic nerd," so he tried to retain "any visual cues" from the original source materials. "For Black Canary, I'm just waiting for people to flag that she is missing her signature fishnets." he added. "So if you haven't noticed, I implied the look of the fishnets with cross leather straps on her pants."

Bronze Tiger
He also shared designs for Bronze Tiger saying he didn't know much about the character, but found out he wears a Tiger suit. "At the end we followed the ARROW tradition to make it more grounded and possible to the real world" Poon said.

I'll also share some more of his illustrations from the show. He worked on the previous Death Stroke design, and acknowledged a lot of people weren't satisfied "because in the comics he only has one eye" but pointed out that was the network's decision. Maybe that'll change in the future as the character develops.

Official style="font-style: italic;">Arrow Synopsis
clear="all">
"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he's become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel's father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver's own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine. The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance."
